HISTORY

Reachout was established in 1982 to facilitate Ed’s desire to do campus work with high school students in Calgary. Through this ministry Ed Weiss has had the opportunity to Inspire, encourage and restore hope and healing to young people around the world as a youth speaker. After 25 years of work with youth and young adults in Calgary Ed and Marci moved to Kelowna BC to help establish The House with a focus on being an expression of encouragement, support and care to the young adult community. Ed has been a part of the speaking team at The House since 2007 as well as currently serving as the Senior Clinical Supervisor for the Internship Practicum Training Program at Third Space Life Charity, where he was a founding director in 2012.  This program offers accessible, supportive care and counseling services to young adults between 18 and 29.
