In 2007 RYM played a part in establishing a ministry to Kelowna’s young people called The House. The House was birthed with a mission to take the love of God to the young adult community in Kelowna, especially the thousands of students at UBCO. Ed has been one of the main communicators for this city-wide gathering since it’s inception. Today, The House has expanded their team of communicators, musicians, technicians and pastors working collaboratively to present the gospel of Christ in an authentic entertaining and relevant way. The House is a spiritual home for hundreds of students. The relationship with RYM and The House has impacted thousands of young people since 2007.

In 2012, we embarked on a whole new level of student support and care by working together with Third Space Life Charity (Student Care Program). This program continues to grow and expand, providing free mental health care to young adults and post secondary students. Ed presently serves as the Senior Clinical Supervisor with Third Space Life Charity. 

Ed has also recently been able to branch out further in the community to speak to and encourage women in recovery at NOW Canada and Karis Society through The Stronger Group in Kelowna and Pastors and leaders from across Canada through Samaritan’s Purse Organization.
